RSMSSB Junior Assistant 2024, LDC Clerk Grade 2 2024 - Selection Process

RSMSSB Junior Assistant & Clerk selection process is designed to identify candidates with the right skills and qualifications for the position. The process consists of multiple phases to ensure a comprehensive evaluation of each candidate.

Written Exam (Phase 1): The initial phase involves a written examination comprising two papers. Candidates must successfully pass both papers to proceed to the next stage.To advance to the next phase, candidates are required to achieve a minimum score of 40% in each paper.

Computer Typing & Accuracy Test (Phase 2): Successful candidates from the written exam move on to the second phase, which includes a computer typing and accuracy test.This phase assesses the candidate's proficiency in typing skills and accuracy, crucial for roles that involve data entry and keyboard proficiency.

Document Verification: Candidates who excel in the computer typing and accuracy test undergo a thorough document verification process.This step ensures the authenticity of the candidate's educational and professional credentials, validating their eligibility for the position.

RSMSSB Junior Assistant & Clerk Exam 2024, where the path to success begins with a comprehensive Phase 1 Written Exam. This two-paper evaluation covers a spectrum from General Knowledge, General Science, and Math to testing proficiency in General Hindi and English. Phase 2 of the RSMSSB Junior Assistant & Clerk Exam 2024 – the Typing Test. This crucial phase assesses your typing prowess in both Hindi and English. Within a span of 10 minutes, your typing speed will be put to the test, followed by an accuracy examination.

Phase 1 Exam Breakdown

Paper 1: General Knowledge, General Science, & Math

General Knowledge: Questions will assess the candidate's awareness of current events, history, geography, and general happenings.Multiple-choice questions (MCQs) will be provided, with options A, B, C, D, and E. Candidates are required to choose one option for each question.

General Science: This section focuses on assessing the candidate's understanding of everyday scientific principles and their applications.MCQs will cover basic science concepts, discoveries, and their relevance to daily life.

Mathematics: The mathematical aptitude of the candidate will be tested with questions covering topics such as arithmetic, algebra, geometry, and quantitative reasoning.

Paper 2 : General Hindi and English

This paper aims to evaluate the candidate's proficiency in both Hindi and English languages. The sections are:

General Hindi: Questions will assess the candidate's understanding of Hindi grammar, vocabulary, and comprehension.MCQs with options A, B, C, D, and E will be provided for each question, and candidates must choose the correct option.

General English : This section evaluates the candidate's grasp of the English language, including grammar, vocabulary, and comprehension.Similar to the Hindi section, MCQs will be presented with options A, B, C, D, and E, and candidates are required to select the appropriate option.

Note

  • Each MCQ question carries five options (A, B, C, D, E).
  • It is mandatory for candidates to mark at least one option for each question. Failure to do so will result in a 1/3 negative marking penalty.
  • If a candidate chooses not to attempt a question, they must mark option E to indicate their intentional decision not to answer, thus avoiding the negative marking penalty.

1. Current Affairs (Relations) : Major events and issues at national and regional level and related organizations and institutions.

2. Geography and Natural Resources : (i) Ecology and wildlife of India. (ii)Physical conditions of Rajasthan - Climate, vegetation and soil and major physical departments, human resources, population and tribes, natural resources of Rajasthan, minerals, forests, water, animals and wild animals and conservation.

3. Agriculture and Economic Development in Rajasthan Major crops and agro-based industries of Rajasthan, major irrigation projects, desert land development projects and handicraft industries. Various economic schemes, programs and development institutions, including Panchayati Raj and their role.

4. History and culture of Rajasthan : (i) Medieval History (ii) Freedom movement and political consciousness (iii) Political restructuring (iv)Folk languages (dialects) and literature (v) Folk music and folk dance (vi) Saints, poets, warriors, folk gods and folk goddesses and communal harmony (vii) Fairs and festivals, customs, costumes and jewellery.

3. Carbon and important compounds of carbon, Hydrocarbons , Allotropes of carbon, Chloro-Fluoro Carbon or Freons, Compressed Natural Gas, Polymers & Soap and detergents.

4. Reflection of light and its laws, Dispersion of light , Types of lenses, Defects of vision and their corrections.

5. Electricity : Electric current, Ohm’s law, Electric cell, Faraday’s laws of electro magnetic induction, Electric generator, Electric Motor, Electric connection arrangements in houses, Working, maintenance and precautions during use of house hold electrical appliances.

6. Space and information technology, Space research programme of India, Information technology.

2. Factoring, factors of polynomials, equations and linear equations in two variables, quadratic equations, logarithms.

3. Ratio-proportion, percentage, profit-loss, shared and simple interest, compound interest, discount.

4. Angles and lines formed at a point and simple linear figures, congruence of triangles, similar triangles and Cartesian coordinate system, distances between two points and internal and external division of distances between two points.

5. Area of plane figures and circumference and area of circle, surface area and volume of cube, cuboid, sphere, cone and cylinder.

6. Angles and their measures, trigonometric ratios and trigonometric identities of acute angles, common problems of height and distance.

Paper 2 : General Hindi and English

General English

Translations of Simple (Ordinary/Common) Sentences from Hindi to English, vice-versa.
